Your Los Angeles Lakers have began their six-game Grammy road trip in embarrassing form, losing their opening two games in a row on Monday and Tuesday.
Unfortunately, things may get considerably uglier tonight. At 4:30 p.m. PT, LA will face its 12-time NBA Finals foe,
the Boston Celtics, at TD Garden in a TNT telecast that may not be as appealing as schedule managers had hoped in the preseason.
The 24-25 Lakers, who are currently ranked ninth in the Western Conference, may face the No. 1 seed in the East without their top two players.
According to the NBA's most recent injury report, Los Angeles All-Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis are presently deemed questionable.
Davis missed yesterday night's 138-122 loss to the Atlanta Hawks due to bilateral tendinopathy of the Achilles and a left hip spasm, both of which figure to be persisting given his uncertain prognosis
James has recently performed admirably despite having left ankle peroneal tendinopathy.
Missing either star would virtually end LA's hopes against one of the league's finest teams. Without them, this national game would be comically skippable.
