Joe Burrow silences speculation his wrist is impacting game performance

This week not only marks the return of the PGA Tour after exactly one week of vacation,

but also a slew of other events across the world that will pique the curiosity of golf enthusiasts.

In truth, the PGA Tour's Procore Championship is one of the least interesting events of the week.

That's because, in addition to a few of the world's finest players teeing off in Napa, California,

one of the top five will face possibly the best golf course on the planet in Ireland. The Solheim Cup is also being played for the second year

with the Americans hoping to return the trophy to the United States for the first time since 2017.

Then there's LIV Golf, which will pay out $18 million to its individual champion at LIV Chicago.

In other words, there's a lot going on and much to come over the next several days.

Let's look at some of the more interesting and overarching topics in golf this week.

Royal County Down hasn't hosted the Irish Open since 2015. That year, Rory McIlroy missed the cut, and Soren Kjeldsen won

McIlroy will strive to find something this year after finishing ninth in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, which was a disappointment for him
